Thanks are due to the following

In cooperation with the Goethe-Institut we have Everyone Else, Destiny, and the three films of the Road Movie trilogy by Wim Wenders. In cooperation with the Institut Francais and the Embassy of France: Fatima, That Man From Rio and Le Sauvage. Also in cooperaton with the Confucius Institute, Victoria University of Wellington: Mountains May Depart. This year we pleased to acknowledge that the three Roy Andersson films, Songs From the Second Floor, You the Living and A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, are proudly sponsored by Weta Digital. And thanks to Cinema Paramount Limited for generously making their facilities available. Screenings for the Balance of the Year The Wellington Film Society was taken by surprise earlier this year when the current operators of the Paramount announced that they were not renewing their lease. It will close just before the end of September. See the Scoop story, The Sad Centenary of the Paramount. The Film Society is committed to presenting the advertised programme - it’s just that there will have to be some extra sessions in some weeks and also a change of venue for some screenings to fit everything in. During September there will be two sessions a week for three weeks, then screenings will continue at Te Papa’s Soundings theatre, fitting around their other commitments. Some screenings will be on Tuesdays. See our updated Schedule. If you run Google Calendar, from your computer search for “WFS Schedule” and add it to your range of calendars. This will be kept up to date if there are any further variations. Links
